Originally the company was established in 1959 under the name Fiberduk AB, and nonwoven was its sphere of activity practically from the very beginning. In 2008, all of the assets and brands were acquired by the Spain based nonwoven manufacturer Tefisa S.A. and together with key personnel transferred into the subsidiary IMS Nonwoven AB.
